Jeffrey Goldstein: I was just in the right place at the right time. From New York, I was managing the world famous Carnegie Deli on 7th Avenue for many, many years. Opposite that we opened up at the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas where I spent many years doing the grand opening, overwhelming property, spent a lot of time there and once I've got the Caribbean in my blog there was no looking back. Kalli McDonnough: So what exactly does it mean Anacaona mean? Jeffrey Goldstein: Golden flowers from the Taino Indians and Espanola. Kalli McDonnough: Oh, really your neighbors. Jeffrey Goldstein: Just to the salad. Martin Davies: But dinners now we have a beautiful conch salad which is local to the island. Kalli McDonnough: See it is beautiful. I love the presentation. Martin Davies: Yes, this tops it. It’s finished with coconuts, some spices and my entrée is again local south Caicos lobster which has been mojo dipped which is like a Jamaican spices and olive oil and butter and then grilled and ice with the mango comfort. Kalli McDonnough: See you say it’s a local lobster, how do you get this lobster? Martin Davies: I supposed, this was sold to the backdoor by the local fisherman as in the conch from Providenciales and the lobster from the south Caicos. Kalli McDonnough: This is such a gorgeous restaurant. Martin Davies: It’s the ocean front and it’s one of the famous restaurants on the island. It’s been around for over about 13 years now, so it’s one of the oldest restaurants in the island because of their huge following. And of course either before dinner or after dinner you can eventually drink in the cocktail. It’s one of the most famous bars in the Caribbean which is the Infinity Bar which is the longest bar in the Caribbean. It’s our best day club and it’s right at Grace Bay Club. It’s a great spot to hang out. Kalli McDonnough: And what's the best drink there? Martin Davies: Probably the Infinity martini which you're enjoying your self. Kalli McDonnough: Yeah, let me taste this up. This will be my first one and I’ll have one later for sure. Martin Davies: They're not the last. Kalli McDonnough: Definitely not the last.
