Set Your Internet Explorer Home Page

We've shown you how to set multiple Home pages in Firefox. Now it's Internet Explorer's turn. Internet Explorer uses Microsoft's website as its home page. If you'd like to see a different page, or even multiple pages, when Internet Explorer loads, it's easy to do. We'll show you how.

Set Your Internet Explorer Home Page Hi. This is Mike Callahan, Doctor File Finder and welcome to your Butterscotch.com tutorial on setting your homepage in Internet Explorer. This is Internet Explorer 7. Click on Tools, Internet Options. When the dialogue comes up, look for the General tab. You can see here, I have iGoogle set as the homepage and I can use a default page which is a Microsoft page. I can use a blank page. And if I have more than one page loaded for example, I have Igoogle and butterscotch.com and I say use current, it uses the pages that are currently opened in the browser. So if I click it now, you see it added butterscotch.com as one of my homepages. If you have four pages opened then you’ll have four pages as your homepage. Click Apply, click OK. Now another -- than Internet Explorer 7 by the home icon here you can click here and you can add or change the homepage or you can remove any parts of your homepage that you want. So that’s kind of a handy feature you don’t have to go always to the internet options. That’s all there is to it.
