Hi, I'm Veronica of watchmojo.com and today we’re at Simon Chang to shop for the perfect holiday dress. So what are some things people should keep in mind when shopping for the holiday look? Simon: You have to work on a wow piece and then make sure it’s very multipurpose, you could wear at least six or seven different ways, think of the accessory that you could change or the cover-ups. Experiment, go in and try on the clothes because a lot of dresses have no hanger appeal. So you're going to say you know I wouldn’t want it but when you put it on you’ll say “oh wow, this is spectacular.” Veronica: Do you think you could tell us about the dress here that you had me put on? Simon: Okay, this is a beautiful dress that I'm very proud of because it’s all cut by laser and it’s apply on separately and this is my mermaid dress. I think this looks spectacular on you. Veronica: Do you think you can give us a closer look at the different outfits you have here? Simon: Oh absolutely. One of my favorite look this season I think is something dramatic something special, I like women to be memorable and this is what I consider memorable. It’s so beautiful when the woman walks into the room and you can see the feather moving. That’s a bit of drama that you want. And I think the key for holiday dressing is to control the temperature around you. You can take off the jacket and then it’ll be very cool and sophisticated. I think this season you got to have the coat and this is a special coat, look at the full fur, its unusual lightweight texture on it and the coloration. And the big collar, the belt to detail here. This is all new for the season. She is so trendy. I love that look. This you could wear to a beautiful holiday party, great for dancing because this is a neat fabric, so it stretches so you can move in the dress. I like that proportion too; it’s long pencil line, so it gives you a longer very elegant look. If you're not comfortable of showing all the skin, I will get a fabulous cover-up, you can go for one dramatic taffeta cape and this is a beautiful jersey cardigan that you could layer. And with the cascade front, it’s so cool. I love this piece anyway because I think this piece could work with jeans, leggings anything.
