Franco: Hello! My name is Franco. I'm from Colorado. What are some of the symptoms and the cause of testicular cancer? Christopher Saigal: Franco, that's a great question. Some of the symptoms of testicular cancer are a hard, usually painless lump on the testicle itself, or a slowly growing hard testicle. Most of the things in the scrotum that our bumps aren't cancer. But you can see a physician to establish what the diagnosis is. As far as the cause of testicular cancer, that has not been established. A lot of research is ongoing to look at the effective chemicals that disrupt the endocrine system, when fetus is in the womb as a potential trigger for testicular cancer. Men that are born with one testicle undescended are at higher risk, for cancer, in the testicle for unclear reasons as well.
