The Aspendos Theater in Turkey Aspendos is known mainly for its world famous antique theatre, one of the few ancient antique theaters in the world which have remained intact. Local are very proud of the fact that Turkish Archeologist were tare without foreign help. Recently new discoveries have been made. They dug the base walls of a Byzantine Basilica and even found the formant citadel the Acropolis at the top of the hill.
