Beyond the Trailer.
Grace Randolph: Forget an inconvenient truth, fake documentaries are so much more fun. You are watching Beyond the Trailer's review of the Last Exorcism.
Ready for another exorcism, yeah I am kind of tired of them too, but this is the last one, but what does make this exorcism different is it presented in the documentary style of found footage, all of the Blair Witch Project, Paranormal Activity and Cloverfield yes audiences even embraced the fake documentary over the real one enjoying the cinema very taste has been on traditional horror stories.
In The Last Exorcism, Reverend Cotton Marcus has preformed 47 exorcisms and they have taken their toll, but he has got room for one more of a farmer's daughter out in the middle of nowhere, which happens to be one of the devil's favorite places to visit. This low budget horror flick is directed by German independent filmmaker Daniel Stamm and produced by horror filmmaker extraordinary Eli Hostel Roth. So, there you have it, the only question left is are your game for one more head turning.
Grace Randolph: So I am with Rudd Alex a BTT Viewer from England who while on vacation came just Beyond the Trailer and I made him see the Last Exorcism, how was it?
Alex McIntyre: I really it, yeah.
Grace Randolph: Oh! You did.
Female Speaker: I was entertained at moments yeah.
Female Speaker: It was pretty good.
Female Speaker: It was okay.
Grace Randolph: It was okay, was it scary? Oh! It was funny.
Female Speaker: Yes, yeah we were laughing.
Male Speaker: More funny.
Grace Randolph: Like funny intentionally or you laughing at it.
Male Speaker: In some parts essentially in some parts I think I was just laughing.
Grace Randolph: Oh! Yeah.
Male Speaker: There was no exorcism going on, there was no exorcism going on until the end.
Female Speaker: The ending was awesome.
Grace Randolph: Oh! It was.
Male Speaker: Ending was the best yeah.
Female Speaker: The ending was really the best part.
Alex McIntyre: It was really good and it kept the tension up, I was best kept cool because I saw the Emily last one and I didn't like that one much.
Male Speaker: I think Emily was better.
Male Speaker: I think paranormal activity I mean like
Grace Randolph: Yeah.
Male Speaker: I like the exorcist first one.
Grace Randolph: Oh! The very first exorcist how you can top that one. What do you think of the documentary style, did you like that?
Male Speaker: Yes I did I like that.
Female Speaker: I like that.
Female Speaker: I feel mixed about it, because I feel like it's been done so many times and it's since you know that it's like a documentary you kind of -- it's staged and the theatrical tricks and it sort of like I would almost like to see a film.
Grace Randolph: Has no famous actors in it?
Alex McIntyre: No, but there were really well the acting was so good at.
Grace Randolph: Oh! Who is like the best, who would you like the best.
Alex McIntyre: I thought the girl, I thought she did an incredible job, yeah.
Male Speaker: They were pretty good especially the girl.
Female Speaker: I like the minister.
Grace Randolph: Oh! He was good, yeah you thought he did a good job.
Female Speaker: Well, I enjoyed him, l liked his sense of humor.
Grace Randolph: There is so much talk about vampires and werewolves, do you think people forget about the exorcism movie?
Male Speaker: Yes, I think they do, this was good, people should see this.
Male Speaker: According to me it's better.
Grace Randolph: Do you like exorcism movies better, why do you like them better?
Female Speaker: It's much scarier, the vampire movies are just like --.
Male Speaker: I think vampire movies more action.
Grace Randolph: Oh! Good point exorcism movies tends to be like it just take place in a barn.
Male Speaker: Yeah.
Female Speaker: I prefer exorcism movies.
Grace Randolph: Why is that?
Female Speaker: Because well you know it's biblical and so that's a whole other conversation I just prefer exorcism movies.
Grace Randolph: Well, more death going on right.
Female Speaker: Well, yeah.
Grace Randolph: Where do you get the movie on a one to ten?
Alex McIntyre: A nine.
Male Speaker: Eight.
Male Speaker: Five.
Grace Randolph: Oh! You say five.
Male Speaker: Yeah five.
Male Speaker: I will give a five.
Female Speaker: Seven.
Female Speaker: Eight.
Male Speaker: Eight.
Female Speaker: Eight.
Female Speaker: Don't ask me.
Grace Randolph: No, no you can be as negative as you want, it's fine.
Female Speaker: No, no because no.
Grace Randolph: Oh you got factor in come on.
Female Speaker: I am not doing it.
Grace Randolph: Are you sure?
Female Speaker: I am not doing it.
Grace Randolph: Okay, all right.
Female Speaker: So if this truly is the last exorcism it looks like it going out with the whimper its audiences give the movie a seven and don't forget the last exorcism is also the focus of this week one sentence review challenge.
