It used to be just a razor, a bar soap and a toothbrush, the simple things and the men will set. But, these days there are a lot of grooming products out there made just for him. Beauty and grooming expert Candace Corey is here. She’s going to show us the best products made just for men and even those products that they might want to steal from the women and I hear and see that we might want to steal some products back from them right? Candace Corey: Right, yes. Audra Lowe: Good to see you again Candace. Candace Corey: Thanks for having me. Audra Lowe: You groomed a lot of men Danny Glover, also NBA players as well like Kevin Garnett, Dwyane Wade. What in particular are these men looking for when it comes to grooming? What’s the main thing on their minds? Candace Corey: Well the first thing they want to do is something very simple. They don’t, unlike us, who like to pamper ourselves. They want to be able to get in and get out and get done. But, one out of two men even if they don’t have problem with balding, they do have problems with thinning. So what they can do is add into their regular vitamins; a supplement that would help that like Viviscal. Audra Lowe: Exactly and speaking of which, skin care products may not work for one person and the other. But what do you recommend for men out there because a lot of men get the razor bumps, they get issues just from shaving alone. Candace Corey: Right I really suggest something that’s going to do a lot because men’s skin is thicker than women’s and they don’t do the sunscreen like we do. Audra Lowe: Right. Is it thicker than women’s? Candace Corey: Yes it is, that’s why we get the fine lines. They usually get the heavy creases but there was something like Olay Definity Foaming Moisturizer that has a texture that they’re comfortable with. And it also hydrates as well as it has glucosamine in it so it takes for that 5 o’clock shadow which is actually hyper pigmentation. Audra Lowe: Now what about this skin when it comes to acne, a lot of men will complain about having acne on their back, even excess hair on their back, do you have a trick for that?
