The New Google Earth

This latest version of Google Earth adds even more cool features. You can view the ocean depths and topography, search the endless reaches of space and even track your hike using the GPS in your mobile device. Google Earth 5.0 gives you lots more information and lots more to see on this beautiful Earth.

This release has some exciting new features including views of the ocean floor and the surface, GPS supports so you can track things from your mobile device and have it map in Google Earth and also more views from space. I'm going to include a link to the download and this informational page is an introduction to Google Earth in getting to know it in the show notes for you. Now we take quick look at some of the new features bringing this over here. Now this is the view of the whole Hawaiian Islands, as you can see not only we can see the islands but we can see the ocean all away around, all of this surface topography in the ocean; this here is a ship wreck of the USS Buchanan. You can see different features that are named, the Cross Seamount, Cook Seamount and so on. We can also take a view in space, switch to the sky and there's a lot more information available on space as well, so this is Google 5 and that’s your breaking news tutorial.
