What is the purpose of focus? The purpose of focus is very simple. It is to dominate your market place. Focus is a tool of domination, especially when it comes to small entrepreneurs. If you look at focus and this is kind of a comedic sense, but is very true, in the cartoon is Popeye, he had a girlfriend by the name of Olive Oil, Olive Oil can be best be described as a long tall drink of water, tall, narrow and skinny. That's exactly what focus should look like. What every business model, what every single business really should look like, you should have a very narrow focus and you should go for a very deep perspective and you should do everything that you can to own that sliver. Your business model should not be wide and narrow, it should be narrow and deep and you do that truly by focusing on a specific market niche that you could exploit.
