Caroline: If you go back to my passion of life, that’s serving, empowering women. So anyway going back to close to what Donna said but what I do when I meet with my clients is I give a little history of how I came to where I am today. And so when I meet with my clients, people that come to me and say “Caroline I want a body like yours”. “You know I'm so tired”. “I want to lose this much weight.” You think that I’d sit down and say “okay, well let’s see what you’re eating, let’s look at your exercise routine”. I don’t do that. Donna: What do you do? Caroline: No, I connect. I teach them about connecting the body and mind and spirit. Donna: Connecting the body and mind. Caroline: Heart, mind and soul basically, and what happens is when you have as Donna was saying when your inner self, your child within, your experiences that you had as s young child, all of our belief systems are created by the age of eight. And from that time forward, any experience that you have whether you—well that’s literally good or bad, your inner self and your subconscious will say “oh, red flag. There could be no danger and whatsoever”. But because you have those experiences, you have these what I call “blocks” and they’re energy blocks. And when you can literally release them and let them go, then you know what your spirit is like “aww that feels so good”. So I teach them to release their limiting thoughts. I take it from as far back of their memory can comprehend and recall. So whenever they felt someone perceive them as unkind or whenever someone says about food or their weight or they weren’t perfect or they came from you know, they live with someone’s expectations. Let them go. You know right I have them to write them down and next to that write that I forgive myself for misinterpreting this if you were misinterpreted or I forgive them. And when you do that, you just— Donna: Misinterpreting, that’s a good thing to think about. Go ahead. Caroline: Forgiveness is a force that is greater than the force that keeps you stuck. Forgiveness is applied to the laws of—works. And it's not just forgiving people, it's forgiving yourself. So—for something laws— Donna: Without judging. Caroline: I have to say forgiving myself is the hardest thing. Donna: Oh absolutely. Caroline: Other people like that— Donna: So when everybody can forgive other people that easily— Caroline: Oh it took me a lot of pain and heartache to get to the point where I forgive people easily. The sooner you can learn this and whether tat you’ve already learned this at your young age, huge! Donna: Nice. Caroline: Yes, it's so nice. It's really true because any hard feelings that you have about yourself or others around you is just a—it's a horrible energy. It's truly your body and your mind and your spirit were all—when you are not whole and complete unless you were literally balanced in all areas of your life. So you can't be a multimillionaire and then have a horrible marriage. You're not balanced. You're not fulfilled and you're not rich, end of discussion. To be honest, they’re not really happy. If you are a filthy rich person and you serve others and you love yourself and you're authentic and you're true to your spirit and you speak from your heart, you're rich and fulfilled. So I teach my clients and everyone they come into contact with to literally connect with your higher self, to connect with your spirit and your heart because when you do that the world literally transforms before your very eyes. And when you do that, or your body it transforms also. Donna: And I need to mention that Richard Paul Evans, if he were sitting here my friend or T. Harvecker when we say these things like filthy rich, it's a good thing to—and we grow up with these filthy rich and misconceptions that having money is a bad thing and it's absolutely it's not. It's a good thing. Caroline: But affluence is not just wealth. Donna: No, no, no. Caroline: Affluence is a holistic blessed and giving the receiving of life. But just like Paul said though many people have gratefully clarified that because many people would think money is bad because you hear all the time. “Oh money is bad, money is bad”. In fact I know a lot of people that were raised that way. You know and our ancestors, they struggled and that can go clear back into your belief system. If you release that in real life, that everything on this earth, everything, everything is for our good or our better man and to bring us joy and happy as peace and love and fulfillment. Then you know what, lessons come. So here’s a little thing of what you have to do. Okay so once we get past the releasing, we replace it with love and gratitude for yourself. So all of my clients, everyone I teach online wherever I am in my public speaking, I teach that having and keeping an attitude of gratitude because gratitude to what you're grateful for, you'll have to more to be grateful for. As we all know that saying is so true. Love abundance, it's exactly right. It works with your inner self. So when you are grateful for everything in your life, for your thought, tire that is flat, a tire could have saved you from a car accident down the street. That flat tire could have saved you from making a mistake, you go on the red light and get a ticket at it. You never know. But if you look at everything in your life with gratitude and like everything is on purpose, they’re like “Oh, all right. Okay this is how it's supposed to be. Then—thank you life, thank you.” And when you do that to yourself, your inner self and you learn to love yourself unconditionally, that’s when the magic begins. Inner love, inner peace and inner fulfillment basically equals pure love and charity for yourself. So, so many people say to me “Carol, I don’t have time to workout.” I'm like “Oh really?” “Then who’s going to take care of you?” “If you don’t take care of yourself, who is going to take care of your family when you're older?” “Who is going to take care of your husband when you're older?” You know if your not always taking care of yourself now, I guarantee 20 years from now, you're going to be thinking “Oh my knees, my back hurt” you know “where is my cane?”, I guarantee that because you come first. But you were vibrant in being active everyday and exercising, and then you'll literally turn back the clock 10 years. It's scientifically proven. So you want the—of youth. You have it within you. You just have to tap into it. So after you write down your positive affirmations then I want everyone out there who’s listening—gratitude journal. Gratitude journals are huge. Everyday, you look around and see where in your life you’ve seen an act of kindness? What you see extra beautiful that day and it's so funny when I remembered vividly when I transferred my way of thinking and start shifting everything and my worlds are changing. Even my husband said “What are you doing babe?” Let me tell you, I was so excited to teach him. Everything was more4 vivid, the trees, the leaves on the trees I figured are so much more crisp and clear and the sky was blue and the birds sing more beautifully. And the flowers fragrant was— Donna: That’s so cute. Caroline: It's really true though because— Donna: What’s exciting is watching your passion because there is a point in everyone’s life and there are different times that people learn this and then when they get it, they can't help but share it. And that’s the beauty. You're compelled to. Caroline: It's like your spilling over. Donna: Because of so many of the wonderful people that are doing the exact same thing that are spreading this, it's spreading faster and all of humanity is rising more quickly because— Caroline: It's so magical. Donna: It's very, very true. Caroline: But you can look at your body, you can look at your home, you can look at your car, there is a manifestation of your habitual thoughts. So, if you wake up every morning and say “oh my gosh, my hair”. Well she ever woken up— Donna: We’re trying to believe this. Caroline: No but it's really true, you look in the mirror and think I feel so fat today. And you go marching out, what happens? Your body is like “oh fat”. You want more of it. So, here is a little experiment I want you to hear. Okay, so, number one I don’t believe in diets. I don’t believe in deprivation. And all things of your life, I do not believe in that. Okay, so, if I told you “okay, guys, you are not allowed to have—on the most beautiful Sunday of your life with the bananas and your favorite ice creams and the chocolate sauce”. Donna: Let’s go. Let’s go get it. Caroline: I actually want ice cream now. Yet you're great if I say, if you can't do that then your whole entire thought process if I say don’t think about it, don’t visualize it. Then your subconscious is going “oh I don’t think so”. “I'm having it now sweetheart and you're not stopping me. Nothing is getting in my way”. Subconscious does not like to be told no or that it an not happen. So, let’s turn that around. Now you see girls after this little segment, we’re going to go out to lunch and we’re getting the most beautiful spinach salad as we have beautiful fruit and fresh tomatoes and all these decadent wonderful fresh vegetables that are just in season right now. And well say you're—and by the way, let’s get some smoke salmon on that as well and your favorite sauce in the side then on top. That’s just your subconscious mind—so then what you do, you start visualizing the salad. And your brain is like “Woo” so then when you see the salad your like “Oh, I couldn’t watch”. Yeah, so let’s say you can't have, don’t do them. It doesn’t work that way. Your subconscious is way more powerful than that. And don’t forget, we’re creators, we’re women so we can truly have what we put out heart and mind and desire too. Our heart leads you to everything you do. In fact, you're so sweet when you asked me to participate and then when I saw her website, I'm like “Paula, I love your site”. My heart was so compelled to your site I can't tell you. Oh, so compelled. And I always follow my heart. So if you learn to follow your heart when it comes to loving yourself, when it comes to loving your family around you, being more forgiving in yourself and others and following through with your goals that you set for yourself. I mean your gratitude journal. Have one more journal that you log your daily goals and your daily affirmations. And read them with enthusiasm everyday. Your emotions are your guidelines to your life. If you’re frustrated and stuck and something is—you know you try to do something, you just “start working”. Guess what, that’s a reflecting “this isn’t for you, next” and you go on to pass that door. Or on the flip side, when you're doing something that your intention to change your life and transferring your body, you—so amazed to I was like “oh, this door is open for you. Oh please come in. Oh this door is open for you, please come in” like “of course, yes” and people start showing up. And that’s how what happens to your body. When you start loving yourself not only does your body transform but your world transforms. It's beautiful and it's magical. It's really is more— Donna: All right, thank you so much now and give your website. Caroline: You go into the http first just to make sure and it's www.liveskinnynow.com, the regular spelling l-i-v-e-s-k-i-n-n-y-n-o-w.com. So, I have tons of—that’s one more thing really— Donna: Carol Whitaker. Caroline: Yeah, that's me. On my blog truly, I give everything, everything that I've had success with all my teachings are all there for those that can't afford to pay a lifestyle fitness coach. Donna: I love that. Caroline: So everything is on there if you have any tips and tricks to diet success and finding your inner peace with who you really are. Donna: We’re going there tomorrow. Caroline: It's there. There you go.
