Toshiba's JournE Touch Multimedia Tablet Review

The small device is designed for people who check email, the Web and social network services frequently. It can also playback music and video.

Male Speaker: With an eye on enthusiastic internet users and those whom done social networking services, Toshiba use the E for electronics for Embolin to launch its JournE Touch Multimedia Tablet. The device is intended to offer quick access to internet services and multimedia without some of the hassles of a full blown PC. The lightweight computers support this 7-inch touch screen and a Wi-Fi connection. Marco Perino: It is the answer to the strong demand of consumers of having an easy to use device that can quickly connect to the internet. Male Speaker: Through the home screen, users can access the web, e-mail and applications like Facebook, flicker, SMS messenger and You Tube. It has a media player for viewing pictures, listening to music and watching videos. For the best thing about it might be the price, €249 which is around $356 and considerably less than many competing products. The JournE touch has 1 GB of internal memory that can be extended up to 32 GB with the plug in SD card. Battery life is around 14 hours according to Toshiba and the company will offer additional applications through an online store.
