Country music has a new fun loving trio on the horizon. Coining phrases like, "off the hillbilly hook" and "rockin' the beer gut." Better TV's Ashlie has the scoop on this hot new group.

Trailer Choir Interview Better Audra: Country music has been fun loving trio on the horizon coining freezes like off the Hill Billy Hook and Rocking the Beer Gut. Better TV’s Ashlie of Music City giving us all the scoop on the hot new group. Ashlie: We’re hanging out here at one of Nashville’s most popular venues 12th and Porter and waiting inside is the country group that Toby Keith discovered so let’s head on inside and catch up with Trailer Choir. So your first single out was Off the Hill Billy Hook. Your current single is Rockin’ The Beer Gut which are both fun party tunes. Is that kind of your niche or do you guys, do you think you’ll come out with a love ballad. Butter: We definitely got some love ballad in the basket but you know there’s no doubt that it’s so competitive out there and we are songwriters and we write all types of songs but there’s no question that, that fun party atmosphere maybe a little humor at times is definitely something that we love and love to have in our show. Ashlie: Crystal, I know that these guys were performing together a little while before you actually joined the group so what made you want to be the rose between these two thorns if you will. Crystal: They were playing the trailer park show which was Trailer Choir with Butter and Vinny before I was there and I just felt you know I heard them do this a couple of times I think they need a female harmony on their song and I took over a microphone and I’ve been with them ever since. Ashlie: You really have twist their arms to get in the group. Butter: She said I’m in your band now and me Vinny were like Yes you are. Ashlie: Okay so now you guys have a record deal the Show Dog at Nashville Toby Keith is your boss so how did you guys actually get discovered by him. Butter: We were playing a show here right here at 12 and Porter we went back to the back of the bar and there he was standing there and he said you know I got this new record label. I just happen to hear about you guys and about a month later he signs us to a record deal on a Tuesday and we jumped on a tour bus on a Thursday and haven’t stopped since. Ashlie: Wow. I think I could be wrong but I think another thing that may have attracted Toby with you guys is Big Vinny’s wardrobe style, the overalls. Big Vinny: Yeah, yeah it’s the overall attraction, you know. Ashlie: You wear this everyday. Big Vinny: Everyday. Ashlie: Everywhere. Red Carpet. Big Vinny: Red Carpet, funeral, wedding, whatever. Ashlie: So how many pairs do you have. Big Vinny: Oh man hundreds, hundreds. Butter: He’s got the overall lingerie edition coming up. Ashlie: Really wow well let’s hope crystal will be modeling that right. Big Vinny: Easy, easy. Ashlie: So the last time I hung out with you guys actually at the stage auditioning for their music video. The video is getting a lot of TV rotation so I want to put you guys in the hot seat today and I thought I would challenge Crystal and Butter to do a little hoola hooping against your worm. Crystal: I’m going free Bg Vinny. Ashlie: You had a couple of spins. Butter: I can’t do it, Big Vinny. Ashlie: Alright I love it.
