Classical music, museums, a wealth ambience, all quite wonderful but there is a more modern side to the city as well. Hello I’m Manjit Devgun and today on City by City we’re going to visit the culture capital of Vienna, Austria. Today we’ll visit an old favorite but mainly we’re leaving the past behind to check out some of Vienna’s hottest, trendiest 21st Century contributions to the Great Art of wining, dining, and kicking up your heels. Let’s start with your next favorite luxury hotel. Centrally located behind the parliament and the city hall, the Levante Parliament Hotel is a celebration of arts and design. The unique old willed atmosphere of the Naschmarkt is famous far beyond the borders of Vienna and it’s definitely a must see. When you visit the Kunsthal, that’s Vienna’s cutting edge contemporary of museum. Make sure to stop in at a joining restaurant Halle. Open breakfast, lunch and dinner until 2 AM. The Halle blends past with present, tool ceilings, area atmosphere, Cream-colored walls with wood trim and oversize ceiling lamps.
