Unison Bend Lick 2

Brad Henecke returns to the world of unison bends with another amazing blues lick.

Brad here from JamPlay. I’m going to teach some more Blues Licks. These are in the key of A minor, you can use a pentatonic or blue scale for this. Anyway, one of the last licks that I’ve shown, I’ve showed some ways to do some bending, unison bends and the unison bends are going to be used in this. Anyway, let’s go to the 5th fret on the 2nd string and the 7th fret on the 3rd string. And let’s just hold that one and let’s just do the bend really quick. And then when we bend it up the whole step, let’s hold it there. [Demonstration] Now the next part of this lick, you’re going to play on the 5th fret on the 3rd string and then on the 7th fret on the 4th string and it’s going to go really quick like—so let’s just play the whole lick together. We do the bend first and then the second part. We’ll do it one more time a little bit slower and one more time all together. There you have the lick with the bend.
