Trevor Hobson: Well, here at Cabela’s, we’ve got a wide variety of different calls. I wouldn’t even be hassled to guess as to how many different one’s we carry well into the hundreds of different styles. And there are two basic styles we’re going to have here, we’re going to have—first to single read and you’ll double read that calls. And if you want to hear the difference between the two of them, the first one will be a single read and the second one will be a double read. A little bit more soft, has a little bit more raps to it you can be quite as fast with your chuckles on it and the rough to it, you can’t get quite as fast with your chuckles on. I can’t quite get that speed out of this one. Jim Henzie: What goes on in Cabela’s is fun, 99 and 99%, 100% of the people walking in the store are here to have a good time. I kid everybody and say it’s like Disneyland except we don’t have to worry. Jim Watt: And infectious enthusiasm is everywhere in this remarkable candy store of outdoor equipment and entertainment. Gary Parsons: Cabela’s is the number one tourist attractions stay in Nebraska and we just call it the big green stops sign out there on IE and people see that when they pop over that hill—it’s like a magnet. “Wow, what is that?” We have to stop and of course even probably the people that aren’t avid outdoors men have heard of the Cabela name, it’s unbelievable the amount of people actually that cam e in here. And they’d schedule their vacations around it, there are tricks, there are hauling, there are fishing, everything detoured through the Cabela retail store. And our airport probably increased 400% to 500% in the amount of aircraft that flew in here just to go to the store. Jim Watt: The largest employer in Western Nebraska, Cabela’s catalogue and retail organization became the salvation for a rural community that lost 80% of its jobs during the late 70’s. Gary Parsons: In fact, our stay in Nebraska did a target industry study of Sidney and more jobs by far than any community stray in Nebraska night. We would think we’d probably rank pretty high nationally. If not, half of the list because we have 6400 jobs for the communities 6400 people. So, all of the smaller farming communities that surround us better communities were very dependent on for their work force, 40% to 50% for our work force community here. And that it did take—so their community stay viable.
