There are several different types of lung cancer depending on which cells are involved. The two main types though are small cell lung cancer and non-small cell lung cancer. Smoking causes about 90% of most lung cancers. Exposure to pollution, radiation, and asbestos may also increase your risk. Treatment depends on the type of cancer and how advanced it is.
