Who What Wear: Dress Trends

In this episode of Who What Wear TV, Katherine and Hillary will put together two looks based on their two favorite celebrity and runway dress trends for the Fall season.

Katherine Power: Hello everyone and welcome to the Who What Wear fashion closet. I am Katherine Power. Hillary Kerr: And I am Hillary Kerr and today we're going to cover a couple of the upcoming dress trends for fall and winter. Katherine Power: First, let's take a look at two of our favorite styles, I seen on this season's runways. One of our favorite trends this season is the floral print dress for fall. We love how designers like Thakoon and Derek Lam turn this spring print into an autumn friendly outfit, layering posy print dresses with cardigans and wool tights. Another of the moment style is the vintage inspired dress. It's slightly retro look seen at Diane Von Furstenberg and Bottega Veneta is a lady like in personal choice. With all the sheer floral on the fall runways, now is the perfect time to recycle your spring dresses. Just make sure you add some warmth by wearing a thick pair of tights and a really thick cardigan. Hillary Kerr: Vintage shopping is another great way to find these early 60 style dresses. Just look for masculine fabrics and neutral colors like tan, gray and even tweed. This vintage inspired shape has a modest neckline so it's perfect to wear with your shorter statement necklaces which are still a big trend. Katherine Power: And to make Laura's look a little bit more modern we gave her this cool clutch and these really cute mens wear inspired shoes. This next dress is definitely my favorite. To toughen up her look a little bit we gave her these high heel motorcycle boots which are really cool because from the front they look like traditional motorcycle boots, but then they got a really skinny heel.
