Why You Should Sleep in a Bra Female: You probably heard all sorts of rumors about sleeping in a bra, should you or shouldn’t you, here's the deal. Sleeping in a bra will not cause a woman to develop breast cancer. So on my take, do whatever it's comfortable. Sleeping with a bra if you're a very large breasted, to reduce premature sagging, and reduce pain and to prevent widen scar after breast surgery. Your best bet is to choose a lightweight bra without an underwire. I like this one, that is completely cotton and there is no wire on the underside. They even make camisole with a shelf lying bra on the inside, again, no wire. I would avoid the camis that do have a thick wire that run underneath your breast. The problem of the wire is really that it can dig in and make sleeping simply uncomfortable and it can also prevent your breast from draining the lymph fluid. Speaking of comfort, it's never a good idea day or night to wear bras that are too tight or don’t fit properly. You want to make sure you visited department store for regular fittings. Bottom line your breast will be healthy whether you wear a bra at night or not. So if you're more comfortable in a bra, go for it.
