Women's Clothing - Metallic Look

Hi! I am Valerie Rippetoe with Marsha's Wardrobe Consulting. I am showing you how you update your spring look. Our next must have look is metallic. I am going to show you how to wear it from day until evening. What I found with most women is that they are afraid to sparkle especially during the day, but I am giving you permission this season because it's everywhere. Our model Marry Margaret is in a great metallic outfit, she could this day or evening. She has the white jeans on that, or all about glam with this. They have metallic pinstripes. She is wearing it with a halter top that is metallic gold. And then we have paired it with this great gold belt. For all out impact, we are going to take this up and knot and add more gold to it. So what I have done is I have added the metallic shawl, a metallic purse this is a Suede purse with a bamboo handle. I have also added bangles which are a must have accessory this Spring. For much more subtle statement with metallic we can take any of these pieces and pair it back to any classics that you have in your closet. What I have done is taken a couple of staples that I know all of you have in your closet and paired it back with this great look. So now I have taken two classic pieces from your wardrobe and put them back with the gold. We have taken the halter top put a navy blazer over top of it and paired it with jeans that I know all of you have, the dark denim works the best with this look. She has her gold sandals on and her gold handbag. So this look can take her out on the town from her office after work. So I am going to show you two more looks. First we are going to start with our gold look and you are going to see not gold to shiny brighter gold this season. Women who have warm undertone look great in golds. Mary Margaret, our model has the warm undertone, so the gold is worked very well on her. This first top is not gold and it's so feminine. What we have done is done the waist emphasis again with the gold belt we have the great bow neckline and the detailing at the sleeve again. Our second look is a great Pewter jacket. This jacket is a Suede foiled leather jacket. In the Pewter color, women who have cooler undertones or gray hair look great in the silvers and the pewter. Lastly I want to touch one more thing for the women, who are not quite ready for metallic really probably your best investment this season would be a pair of metallic shoes whether it's gold, whether it's silver, metallic. I promise you anytime you are not sure what pair of shoes to wear with a certain color, you can always rely on metallic and it will go with everything.
