Wrapping Revamp

Star Hansen shows how to store giftwrap and create a wrapping station.

The actual map wrapping all those Christmas presents can be a true nightmare. Crumpled wrapping paper and ribbon all over the place or it can be fabulously organized like this. I am going to show you how to create your own great total wrapping station that’s will pretty and practical. For there are three parts to a great total wrapping station, the wrapping supplies the tools an the gifts, what you need to do is locate an empty wall in the room that you’re going to use then you are going to take a piece of board and paint to the color to match the room. This is going to be our launching pad for the entire wrapping station. The most important part is the wrapping paper, so you are going to take a standard curtain rub. It’s really important that it’s adjustable because wrapping papers are all different sizes so we are going to go ahead and hang the peg board hooks into the wall. The cool thing about this project is that you don’t knot to go very far to define what you need. A peg board, curtain rugs these are things you can find that any value store. Keep only your top three wrapping papers up here on the wall, everything else is going to be the side den. We are going to hang the ribbon just like we hang the wrapping paper on the curtain rug. This gives you quick access for you to you to use ribbons. Another options for storing your ribbon is this ribbon cutting, it has a little peg right on the center that keeps all of the ribbons are align. Then it goes and you have a very easy to dispense ribbon. Now we’ve done wrapping paper and ribbons but what about bags and tissue paper? I like to use a newspaper holder for the wall it’s all about your fingertips and you loose the mess. We’re done with part one and we are moving on to part two, the tools of our wrapping station. Scissors, tape and a pen you need to make sure that you put them in an area that’s very easy for you to access. We also have both confetti and tags so what we are going to do is maximize every possible inch of space by using everyday basic messengers and the way that my dad thought me when I was growing up in his shop. What he told me to do was to take a little of messenger and screw it into the shelves and then attach the jar again that vertical space under the shop that never gets use we are capitalizing on it today. The most important tool is the final item, your working space. I’m going to use a basic computer desk. What I like about the computer desk is there is no drawers do not give yourself an option to clutter. So now it’s time to move on step three, your gifts. It’s a good idea to have an area to put your wraps gift temporarily. That way there not lingering and rest of the house, there you go. There steps to a great total wrapping station that’s a wrap.
