Yoga Breathing Exercise This is breathing for relaxation. This is a wonderful technique anytime you need to find a little bit of calm during your day. So we’ll begin sitting up tall cross legged as you making ease, with the hands on the belly where your shoulder is away from your ears and inhaling slowly filling the belly, filling the body with breath and then exhaling slowly releasing. Really good and again inhaling, filling up, expanding, soft base, exhale and gently release. One last time just like that inhaling, taking your time and exhaling. Maybe even a light smile relaxed face. It’s really a good job. So let’s start to do this again but this time just a little bit longer. We’ll inhale through the counts of four. We’ll have a short pause and then we’ll exhale for the counts of four. So there’s a sense of balance in the breathing, in the mind and in the body. So inhaling for the counts of four, three, two, expand, pause for just a moment and exhale one, two, three, good job and again inhaling one, two, fill up, pause for a moment, exhaling slowly as though you were letting the air out of the balloon, last time. Inhale, fill all the way out breathing through the nose, pause, exhale, four, three making that ocean sound really nice and relaxed completely. Remember that you can do this with anytime that you want to feel a little bit more peace or tranquility during the course of your day.
