Zune 30 and Zune 80 Comparison

Target launches a coupon program from mobile phones, Google launches a fancy new RSS reader and Sex sells and I mean that quite literally in Sex.com you’ll see. It’s Thursday, March 11th I’m Natali Del Conte and it’s time to get loaded. You can now use your cell phone to redeem coupons at target, customers will access bar code discounts for the products that they’re buying which can be redeemed using the check out scanner this makes target the first major retailer to do this nationwide. In order to participate you have to obtain by texting the word coupons 2827438 target will then text you back a link to the items that have coupons and those promotions will all be available using one single bar code. The coupons will not work online unfortunately only at target stores. Google launch a new RSS reader feature called Google reader play, it gives you a full screen view of the feeds that you’re following with the film strip of thumbnails across the bottom. This makes the reader a much less intimidating technology which is appropriate because the RSS reader never really took off with general consumers. Reader play will also fun content from within your feeds like grasp quotations and videos. You can find it yourself at Google.com/reader/play. The Sony reader has 20 new major newspapers and periodicals available through the readers store. Publications like the New York Times, the Boston Globe, PC Magazine and more are now available through the Sony readers store to sync up with your Sony reader, the problem is that reader still require a hard sync with the computer so you wont be crabbing this newspapers wirelessly. Twitters trying to make sure you don’t click on malicious links within your twits, the company will now route all links submitted to the site through a filter that’s meant to catch links that lead to malware. This is obviously a response to malware scams that penetrated Twitter in February. The filter were focused on links sent over direct message and email modifications about direct messages since that did seem to be the focus of the scams. Of course this is a new technology so still best to use prudence in your clicking habits. Google added a few new options to calendar, you can now use fun little icons in your calendar invites which makes any party more festive you can also set alerts within the browser tab or window of your calendars so that you don’t miss any events. And finally you can automatically decline events that come in for times that you have set yourself unavailable. So if you’re out of town you can tell your calendar to decline anything that comes in while you’re away. Pretty nifty you can find all of these new features in your labs area of your Google calendar. Casio has launched a new phone on Verizon that is not for the pretty, pretty princess. Check out the Gzone brigade manly it’s marketed as a ragged and it certainly does look that way. It also has a full qwerty keyboard, visual voice mail, a 3.2 megapixel camera with flash and push to talk. Android users are parent company CBS has a new application in the android marketplace. It features breaking news, video on demand from all CBS news shows. Full integration with Twitter plus the ability to share stories with your social networks the apps is free. And other android news app right now has a browser out for the operating system and android version of Oprah mini is also available for free in the internet marketplace. Just when you thought all the good URL’s were taken, sex.com goes on the market. A public auction for the landing page will be held on March 18th but don’t get too exited quite literally the domain will start bidding at 1 million dollars.
